Stephen J. Nichols

Steve holds master’s degrees in theology and philosophy and a Ph.D. from Westminster Theological Seminary. His writings have appeared in such scholarly journals as The Sixteenth Century Journal and Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society and in such popular magazines as Christian History, Table Talk, and World. He is currently working on his tenth book. Previous books include his popular Guided Tour series and Heaven on Earth: Capturing Jonathan Edwards's Vision of Living in Between (Crossway).

Steve is a professor at Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School, teaching church history and theology. He is a visiting lecturer at London Theological Seminary, and also frequently speaks in churches and conferences. Steve and his wife, Heidi, also an author and professor, live in Churchtown, Pennsylvania, with their two sons.
